Now on a more brighter note. You may recall that last week I mentioned that a friend of mine had a son injured in Afghanistan and was on his way to The Military Hospital of Selly Oak at the New QE, well the good news is that he is on the mend, out of imminent danger but will probably take about a year before he's fully recovered and back to normal duties. He's a very lucky soldier, by all accounts.
