Someone I know has a son in the army, they were told earlier on this week that he had been injured in action out in Afghanistan. Today he has returned back home to Brum, to be treated at The Military Hospital at the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family, hoping for a speedy recovery specifically for him, but notwithstanding the many other service people at the hospital.
I know Mike, it makes last weekends remembrance services seem especially poignant. The family are also in my thoughts. Councillor Emily Cox
