£1million Plus

The Walker Review into the corporate governance of banks reported and clearly stated that all British banks should declare all employees who have earned more than £1 million in any one year, inclusive of bonuses.

George Osbourne Chancellor doesn’t want this to happen, why? Because so many of his city friends would be on the list and it could be embarrassing for him and for them. After all wasn’t it the bankers that caused all of these economic problems in the first place by over egging the pudding and their earnings.
But the real elephant in the room is Business Secretary, Vince Cable, who has been, (that was until he became a ‘Secretary of State’) very critical of bankers and that there is a need to name those on very high salaries.
Now let’s see the sparks fly, or is a Secretary of States salary too much to lose on a principal, after all everything else is now different.
