Well it seems that the Department of Health has had to back track again, this time over introducing a National Call Centre, for local GP patients, who want an appointment to see their local doctor.
By all accounts, yesterday the very same department was quoting a £600 million saving, but following a major backlash from GP practices across the country, the Dept of Health has now pulled the plug on the daft idea.
