A family of four from the Druids Heath part of my ward, can sleep a little more soundly tonight, after experiencing what no home owner or tenants wishes, a house fire when everyone is sound asleep in bed.
This all happened yesterday in the early hours of the morning, when a heating unit went faulty and started to give off smoke, what saved them all is that a smoke alarm was already installed in the property and woke up the inhabitants, giving them time to get out of the premises and saving their lives.
