Birmingham Council Will Continue To Use Lie Detectors

Birmingham City Council are to steamroll through the continued use of a lie detection system, even though The Government has found flaws in the exact same system and pulled the plug on its use in Government establishments.
Now if someone is fiddling the system, I would be amongst the first to report them and I have done this and will continue to, but relying on a lie detection system which is probably flawed is not the way forward.
Over years many scientists have questioned the effectiveness of lie detection systems, most recent which was a peer-reviewed academic article "Charlatanry in forensic speech science", the authors reviewed 50 years of lie detector research and came to the conclusion that there is no scientific evidence supporting that lie detectors actually work.
