Since September, Barry Henley, my colleague and me have been campaigning to protect our local Police numbers and against any proposals from either the Government or from Birmingham Tory run Council to stop using ASBO's as a means of tackling unruly behaviour.
I have handed in petitions from local residents in to Council on both of these issues and we are still campaigning against changes to both.
Hearing that yesterday that redundancy notices have been issued to staff at BASBU who handle serious cases of anti social behaviour, is unbelievable.
Don't they recognise what they are doing???????
