Now there are junkets and there are junkets, the one recently taken by David Hartnett, the head honcho at revenue & Customs, in India and giving the conference a thirty minute speech beggars belief.
So this is where my income tax goes, or at least some of it. However I will admit his flight was only in Business Class, where as most of his colleagues in the UK prefer First Class travel, I wish I could afford to travel in such luxury and I'm the one paying to allow them to do it!!!!!!!!!!!
