"Otherwise I'll See You In Court"

The last Labour Government held their nerve and prevented prisoners from having the social right of voting for either a council or government. Now however the Coalition Government is to do just that. Giving our right, those of legally abiding citizens, to criminal gangsters like Colin Gunn who terrorised a large part of Nottingham and who's territory stretched beyond Nottingham.
These are people who DON'T deserve to be part of society, they should be incarcerated and most certainly prevented from having a say in who governs us.
What has really annoyed me is that he has won the right to be addressed as 'Mr Gunn' by prison staff, I was always of the opinion that respect had to be earned not imposed as in this case yet again. But who probably paid for HIS right to legal advise in the courts? Us, as the legal aid system probably funded his case and out of that we get rich, very rich solicitors and lawyers, whilst we the tax payer fund it.

  1. Which is why Ken Clarke is reforming the legal aid system, a system which was abused under the last Govt.

And Labour did not hold their 'nerve' over votes for prisoners, it helped developed the situation we are in now where each prisoner can gain compensation for not being allowed to vote. I suppose this is the same 'nerve' shown by Labour in Birmingham when it came to single status.

Your synthetic anger is beyond opportunism, it is naked cynicism.

Talking of taxpayers funding being wasted, is the latest leaflet in the Council post yet?
