One Step Forward, Two Back Or Is It More?

Following on from the debate in the Commons yesterday of school sport funding, where Secretary of State Michael Gove said "While much good work was done, the money was not spent as efficiently and effectively as it should have been. The picture is not perfect. Far from it."
Far from it indeed, it now seems that his mucker David Cameron is a little displeased, after an outcry from world class athletes from all sports over the decision to cut £2.4 billion for youth sports. Downing Street are now looking to influence the Gove decision "after concern at local level." as mentioned in Prime Ministers Question Time, when Labours Gerry Suttcliffe cornered David Cameron about schools sports funding.
With the number of clangers coming out of the mouth of Michael Gove, me thinks he isn't long for the chop.
Well done to Andy Burnham and Gerry Suttcliffe on this campaign, it isn't a "sexy" subject but they are forcing yet another Government climb down after a public outcry.
What will be really interesting will be the investigation  currently being carried out by The Office for National Statistics, as far too many are being banded around the Commons Chamber by Government ministers at all levels, which are totally fictitious.
