I can't claim any credit to the statement from Steve Webb MP The Pensions Minister. But I do believe that the Government woke up to the possible outpouring from us silver surfers, who have occupational pensions, if our trustees were to be forced by Government to adopt Consumer Price Indexing in place of RPI.
Yet another climb down by Government.
I wonder how many more climbdowns we would need before there's a new election and a new Government?
