Apparently the charges being made by Birmingham City Council for graves is astronomical, I've just found out that for a resident living in Brum to be buried in a Council cemetery, you will be charged anything from £2,200 up to just over £3,000 for a grave.
If on the other hand, you are a Brummy, not living in Brum, but wish to be buried here it could cost nearly £6,000.
Talk about a "Death Tax", the Council must be raking it in.
Well I for one won't be after one. I'm gonna be burnnnnned, ashes to ashes, dust to dust and so on and so forth.
